so damn classy
April 26, 2008
there’s a sunrise in my journal. it’s just all right. but the inspiration is so beautiful you don’t talk about it out loud. you don’t remember it in silence.
it’s earth week and all i can do to celebrate is ride my bike across town. my brakes are squeaky and it makes me nervous, but i rode through brighton park on thursday anyway.
i slowed my pace, became a follower, and the noise stopped. the sun came through the trees just right, golden green. a dead leaf met the ground, and i felt the wind at my back, my tires rolling over the warm asphalt track, heaven in our town.
hip hip hip

she’s so flighty with words, tosses them around just for kicks.

i’m excited about this dumb ole prom after all. we look like newlyweds. i bought a red boutonneire to match my dancing shoes. don’t let me down.
upon finding music, i suck it dry. i’ll listen to the same song over and over,
and it doesn’t get old ’til it gets old
then it’s gold.
heard that.
nonsense. i’m bad at washing my hair lately, like it’s getting too long and i can’t handle it anymore. yes, it’s kind of funny in a sad way. and i’m catching up on LOST. yep.
“I just held my breath for a really long time for no reason, and no one even noticed, but I did it anyway, and I think it was the longest I’ve ever gone.”
–SCD, not verbatim. but hilarious.
I went to the zoo today to get an application for a summer job. that’s about to be awesome. kakhi shorts and a legit chaco tan. plus, mozzerella sticks like every day and a petting zoo, which means bunnies. furthermore, the train. yes, ma’am!
